Meet Bob Kocher

Bob Kocher, an international award winning automotive journalist, is the creator of the Toycarclub.com.

Having bought, sold, disassembled, wrecked, repaired, raced, and driven close to a million vehicles, "Car Bob" is certainly a die cast car authority!

Kocher has worked in all 50 states and most of Canada making calls on the automotive trade or test driving new vehicles. He has participated in over 200 new vehicle launches in the US, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, England, France, and Spain.

Kocher has taken part in several hundred new vehicle tech programs.

As the content developer Bob directed the creation of the Firestone Legendary Drives web site, which highlights fun and educational stops along America's roadways. As an Automotive Communications Group syndicated auto writer, Bob has written new car reviews, automotive aftermarket columns, project features and much more during his career.

His writing awards include the International Automotive Media Association Gold Awards and Silver awards for Excellence in Automotive writing. Bob is also the recipient of a Telly Award for television program writing in 2006.

Bob is a member of the Midwest Automotive Media Association, Chicago, Automotive Press Association, Detroit, the Washington (DC) Automotive Press Association, the Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving & Chowder Society.

Bob has also served as Concours Judge at the Greenwich Cocours d'Elegance for several years.
